Different people see a different me, but those different me are all parts of myself. I always try to present the ‘best’ self to others. But different people have different standards on what ‘good’ is. Therefore, to suit their expectations, also to present the ‘best’ self, I customised myself.

There is always an interlude in another interlude, whatever it is a space/an event/an object, this theory is always valid in the scale of time. Like we drink a cup of coffee during our refreshment break, and then this cup is an interlude of the refreshment. This refreshment is an interlude of this INTERLUDES project.

What if the public transportation spaces were the destinations, rather than the journeys? What if instead of treating them as pauses in our experience, they were used to discover and experience themselves? Bad News Haikus explores our shared experience within these spaces.

This project is an experimental exploration of the invisible space which is a changeable, and untouchable space, between people and physical environment or people's social activities. In this project, I used outline of human in space to give interlude a new definition - a specific language which can express the relationship between people or space, representing the emotion at the time, having the narrative elements (context) in space, and also can be changed by time.
